Sample quote · for travel agents & overseas DMCs

A real 16-day programme,priced line by line

This is an actual ground programme we arranged for an overseas DMC partner, republished with the client’s details removed. Nothing here is a mock-up: the days, the vehicles, the rail legs, the timed entries and the prices are the ones that were quoted and then operated.

We publish it because most Japan operators answer a multi-day brief with a single number and “contact us for a quote”. This is the alternative: every movement on its own line, so an agent can check the programme before selling it.

How to read this quote

Charter & transfer lines
Arranged by us directly — the figure on the line is the rate. No platform sits in between, so there is no OTA cut inside it.
Lines marked + handling
Rail seats and attraction tickets we buy on the client’s behalf: actual cost plus a stated handling fee, then reconciled to the real fare after travel. 17 of the 42 priced lines here are on that basis.
Lines with no price
Itinerary steps that carry no charge — a stop, a walk, a free-entry shrine, a meal the guests pay themselves. They stay on the quote so the day is readable, not to pad it.
Hotels
Named for scheduling only. We don’t resell accommodation, so none of the hotel cost — and none of our margin — is inside this total.

Rail and ticket lines were reconciled to their actual fares after travel, so the settled figure moved slightly against this quote. Hotels, flights and meals the guests paid themselves are not part of this total. Handling fees and trade commission are written in full on the quote an agent receives.

Itinerary, pax, dates and whatever is already booked. Most briefs come back fully itemised within 24 hours — however many lines the programme runs to.
