ABOUT RYDAGENT

Travel doesn't always go to plan. That's when you need someone who can say yes.

A delay is never just a delay. The connection is gone, the hotel night is gone, the tour you prepaid has to move. And somewhere in the middle of rearranging all of it, you're looking at your transfer booking thinking:

Do I have to pay for this again?

You don't. If your flight moves, the ride moves with it — new flight number, new day, 4am arrival, no extra charge. We can't undo the rest of it. But this part, you can stop thinking about.

Small things shouldn't wreck a trip you spent a year planning. Least of all your mood.

WHO WE ARE

We connect you to local drivers — and we answer for them.

We don't own the cars. Across Japan there are small, licensed operators who have been driving people from airports to hotels for decades — careful, punctual, genuinely good at this. Most of them never built a website, so travelers never find them.

Finding them is what we do. We meet them in person. We only put forward the ones we'd put our own family in.

So yes — we're in the middle. We're not hiding that. You're paying us because you don't want to gamble on a stranger's van in a country where you don't read the road signs. That's the whole job.

WHEN THINGS GO WRONG

Anyone looks good when the flight is on time.

Most days, everything works. On those days every service looks the same. The difference shows up on the bad day, and it comes down to one question:

When something goes wrong, who owns it?

Booking through a global platform

  • Your bookingSits between a platform and an operator you've never spoken to
  • When your flight movesYou tell the platform, the platform tells the operator, and you wait
  • If there's a disputeEach side points at the other
  • Where that leaves youIn the middle, at an airport, at 4am

Booking with RydAgent

  • Your bookingOne agent, one contact, from booking to arrival
  • When your flight movesYou send us the new flight number. We handle the operator.
  • If there's a disputeIt's ours to fix, not yours to chase
  • Where that leaves youNot in the middle. We are — that's what you hired us for.

At a big platform, the person you're chatting with cannot say yes. Not won't — cannot. Nobody gave them the authority. Here, someone has it.

IN PRACTICE

What that looks like

Your flight moves, the ride moves.

Free. Weather, mechanical, a missed connection — send us the new flight number and we rebook the pickup for your new arrival, however close to the day it is. (Airport pickups.)

We watch the flight ourselves.

A delay over 20 minutes adjusts your pickup automatically. Free waiting is 90 minutes from the moment you actually land — not from the time you were supposed to.

Your name is on a board at arrivals.

Included on every pickup, no extra charge, subject to airport rules.

Changed your mind, not your flight?

Our terms are 24 hours — free changes to date, time, destination or vehicle, and we settle the fare difference either way. Inside 24 hours we'll still do our best to make it work.

Six of you? Nine? Still one car.

In Japan a taxi is a four-seat sedan. So is Uber's Premier tier — the same Alphard we drive, also four seats. For six people with six suitcases, the usual answer here is “take two cars” or “take the train with your luggage.” We run a 9-seat HiAce: nine people, nine large suitcases, one vehicle, one price. Narita → Tokyo works out to about ¥3,300 each.

What actually fits 9 people in Japan

Fixed price — and 4am costs the same as 4pm.

Narita → Tokyo is ¥24,000 for up to 4 passengers, or ¥30,000 for up to 9, tolls included. No meter, no surge, no late-night surcharge. The number you see when you book is the number you pay.

We use AI too. We just don't hide behind it.

The chat box answers price questions instantly — that part should be automated. For anything else, ask for a person and you get one. No loop, no “I didn't understand that,” no ticket number. A human who can change your booking, refund you, or call the driver.

Message us on WhatsApp

We're not going to tell you we refund everything, always. We won't. What we will tell you is that the terms above are a floor, not a ceiling.

A CUSTOMER, IN THEIR OWN WORDS

In between flights, we learned that our connecting flight had been delayed. Instead of arriving at 9:15pm, we would now be arriving at 11:30pm… arriving so much LATER at night, I was worried that our driver would no longer be able to pick us up. I notified him, and he responded, “Don't worry. I'll wait for you. See you later.” He even included a smiley face!

I went from panic to peace in an instant.

As we were exiting the plane, I received a text from him notifying me that we had landed at Terminal 2, so it would be quicker to get out… he would be at the exit within one minute with a sign.

This was such an easy stress free experience. I have taken many airport transfers and this was by far the easiest and most efficient experience I have ever had. The communication was frequent and proactive. I cannot say enough about this company. 100% recommend

The driver contacted us as soon as we landed in Tokyo. He provided clear instructions how to meet after we got our luggage. He had to wait an extra 30 mins since our plane was delayed. Great service, great / clean car and a nice ride to our hotel. Thanks.

My wife and I had a flawless experience using this transfer service from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Central Tokyo. Although we are in our 70s, we are experienced travelers and usually take public transit or a taxi from airports to hotels. However, this was our first trip to Asia and with a 12-hour flight from Chicago, we decided that we needed to make the hotel transfer easy. And it was. Communication with the company was excellent. They messaged me through WhatsApp several times to make everything was clear. In fact, I messaged them when we landed, that the plane was an hour early and hoped they could pick us up sooner. They responded yes and sure enough our driver,John, was there to meet us past customs. John was very friendly and very professional. His English was excellent. He handled the luggage. The vehicle was comfortable. He made us feel welcome. I highly recommend them and would use them again without hesitation.

Our driver picked us up at our hotel and dropped us at Haneda Airport Departures (Terminal 3) as requested. It was a very comfortable and safe ride and the vehicle was very clean and spacious. Thank you so much!

Great experience using this private transfer from our hotel to Haneda Airport. Booking was easy, and when we needed to adjust our pickup time, the operator was very responsive. The driver arrived on time and the ride was smooth and stress-free. Would definitely use again.

Professional service that takes the stress out of airport transfers. Our family has been to Tokyo a few times. Airport transfer by train, taxi, and private car. This service is good value, especially for groups. We had a very comfortable and well kept vehicle. Driver was very professional, polite, and easy to work with. We had an hour long flight delay and sat on the runway for 20 minutes after landing. This service was very flexible and helpful through the situation. Driver was patiently waiting when we arrived.

Karazawa Ryou was our driver. He texted us his contact info via Whatsap the day before our flight. In between flights, we learned that our connecting flight had been delayed. Instead of arriving at 9:15pm, we would now be arriving at I1:30pm. Such a significant amount of delay time...plus, arriving so much LATER at night, I was worried that our driver would no longer be able to pick us up. I notified him, and he responded, "Don't worry. I'll wait for you. See you later." He even included a smiley face! I went from panic to peace in an instant. As we were exiting the plane, I received a text from him notifying me that we had landed at Terminal 2, so it would be quicker to get out. I should let him know once we had picked up our luggage, and he would be at the exit within one minute with a sign. I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly this process went, and the SUV exceeded my expectations. It was lush and immaculately clean. I commend the driver on his professionalism and would not hesitate to hire him again. This experience was BETTER THAN PERFECT!

William Thornton BC Guide Dogs, May 2026

Excellent experience from start to finish. Communication before arrival was clear and professional, and the driver was waiting exactly as instructed after we cleared customs at Haneda Airport. After a long international flight, having a smooth private transfer to our hotel made a huge difference. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, the ride was efficient, and the entire process felt very organized and stress-free. We especially appreciated the prompt responses and easy coordination through WhatsApp. Highly recommend KJ Tour for anyone arriving in Tokyo and wanting a reliable, comfortable airport transfer experience.
