What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
Your flight is automatically tracked from the airline data feed the moment you book. Any delay length is covered — 30 minutes, 5 hours, overnight — your driver is auto-rescheduled to your actual landing time. Free wait after landing is 90 minutes (the industry standard is 60; we extend it because international immigration and luggage retrieval routinely run long). If your flight is cancelled or rescheduled to a different day due to weather, mechanical issues, or any force majeure, message your agent with the new flight info — we rebook the transfer for the new arrival at no charge.

What if my driver doesn't show up?
It hasn't happened — but if it ever does: take any available taxi from the airport directly. Send us the receipt. We reimburse the entire taxi fare beyond what you originally paid us — no cap, no questions asked. You never pay more than your locked-in RydAgent price; we absorb every yen of the overage. Your trip is delivered, not refunded.

How does communication work during my trip?
RydAgent operates on a two-tier communication model. Your dedicated English-speaking operations agent handles all booking, pickup logistics, and trip-day communication on WhatsApp — message in English, they coordinate everything in Japanese with your driver. Your professional Japanese driver focuses on what they do best: safe driving on Japanese roads, knowing local routes and shortcuts, navigating Tokyo traffic. This separation is deliberate. Pickup-perfect English is best handled by trained dispatchers; safe driving in a foreign country is best handled by experienced local drivers. Are there any extra charges — tolls, surcharges, parking?
The price you see at booking is the price you pay. Period. Highway tolls, late-night/early-morning surcharges, parking, fuel, GPS, child seat (¥2,000 per seat if requested) — all included or separately quoted upfront. The only exception is mid-trip changes you request (extra stops, route changes, additional destinations), which we quote in writing before charging. No hidden fees. Ever.
