This was such an easy stress free experience. I have taken many airport transfers and this was by far the easiest and most efficient experience I have ever had. The communication was frequent and proactive. I cannot say enough about this company. 100% recommend

Chubu Centrair Airport to Nagoya
~45 min direct — vs 1–1.5 hr and 1–2 train transfers
Name-board meet-and-greet at arrivals, included in the price
Flight tracked — 90 min free wait counted from your actual landing time
One car for the family — Alphard 4+4 or HiAce 9+9
By train, Centrair to Nagoya runs about 1–1.5 hr with 1–2 transfer(s), around ¥1,200–1,700 per person — before you factor in moving suitcases between platforms. Centrair sits on an artificial island off Tokoname with one bridge and one railway, and the Meitetsu line into the city is genuinely good: ¥980, or ¥1,430 with the all-reserved μ-SKY express, about 28 minutes to Meitetsu Nagoya beside the main station. One or two people with hand luggage should take it, and we say so. From three people the arithmetic turns: the car is one fixed price for the whole group to any address inside Nagoya's 16 wards — Sakae, Fushimi, Nagoya Port, the Nagoya Station hotels — and it comes in under the metered taxi shown in the comparison table on this page, which runs on the meter plus expressway tolls. From five to nine people a single HiAce replaces the two or three taxis that would otherwise arrive separately. A private car takes your group straight from the NGO arrivals hall to the door in about 45 minutes — one fixed price of ¥19,000 (up to 4 in an Alphard, or ¥23,000 for up to 9 in a HiAce), tolls included, with your flight tracked so the driver is there even if you land late. Your driver waits at arrivals holding a sign with your name, so once you are through customs you walk out and go.

Frequently Asked Questions
On this route, usually yes — the train is the cheapest per person (¥1,200–1,700) but means 1–2 transfers dragging luggage; a private car is direct door-to-door, flight-tracked, and fixed at ¥19,000; for a party of 4 that's ≈¥4,750 each with zero transfers. Per person, one or two travellers with light luggage will still pay less on public transport — the private car wins on luggage, group size and not changing trains, not on being the cheapest.
The most direct rail route is the Meitetsu μ-SKY Airport Express (名鉄常滑線ミュースカイ), then the Nagoya Municipal Subway Meijō Line (名古屋市営名城線) — 1–1.5 hr in total with 1–2 transfer(s), around ¥1,200–1,700 per person. No reservation needed — just tap a Suica or Pasmo IC card (or buy a paper ticket from the machines) and board any train. If that works for your group and your luggage, take it — it's cheaper than we are and we'd rather you got there happily than overpaid us.
Japan's rail network shuts down overnight — trains stop running around midnight and don't start again until roughly 5 a.m., so there is a genuine window where no train exists at any price. The part people underestimate is that you can't reach a platform the moment the wheels touch down: immigration, baggage claim and customs typically take 30–60 minutes, so a landing at 22:30 can easily mean the last departure has gone before you clear the airport. Departure times change with each timetable revision, so check the exact last services for your own date with the rail operator rather than trusting any figure quoted second-hand. If the trains have gone, the realistic options are a taxi — metered, with a 20% surcharge between 22:00 and 05:00 on top of a fare that already runs about ¥20,000–25,000 for this distance — or a car booked in advance. Ours is fixed at ¥19,000 whatever time you land, with no late-night surcharge, and the 90 minutes of free waiting are counted from your actual landing time, so a delayed flight doesn't eat into it.
About 45 min for the roughly 48 km door-to-door. By comparison, the train is 1–1.5 hr with 1–2 transfers.
The drive leaves Centrair on the Centrair Line bridge — the airport's only road link; expressway tolls for the whole journey are already included in the fixed price. On weekdays the expressways around Nagoya are busiest roughly 07:00–09:00 and 17:00–19:00, and holiday mornings add outbound leisure traffic — early-morning, midday and late-evening runs are usually the quickest. The 45 min / 48 km (30 mi) estimate assumes normal conditions, and the fixed price is the same at any hour — your driver tracks the flight, so a delayed or late-night landing costs nothing extra.
A taxi's real advantage is that it's there without booking, and for one or two people with light bags that's often the sensible choice — we won't pretend otherwise. Where it fits less well is the longer run to central Nagoya. First you queue at the airport taxi rank; then the fare is metered — for this distance it runs about ¥20,000–25,000 with the expressway tolls and booking fee on top, and the meter climbs higher in heavy traffic or with a 20% night surcharge between 22:00 and 05:00. Booked through an app, the figure you accept at request time is an estimate — the card is charged whatever the meter and the taxi company's pickup fee actually come to. A sedan taxi seats only 4 with room for a bag or two, can't fit a child seat, and with a language barrier it's hard to explain exactly where you need to go. We're fixed at ¥19,000 — less than the meter, with tolls and any night surcharge included; no pickup fee, no return fee, no clock running at red lights or in traffic, and apart from waiting beyond the free allowance nothing else is ever charged — and you get a premium Alphard or a HiAce (up to 9 passengers), child seats on request, flight tracking, and a driver who meets you so you skip the queue.
A note before comparing: Uber's premium tiers (Black / Premier) only cover pickups in Japan's major metro areas and a handful of airports, and Centrair isn't on Uber's published coverage list as of July 2026 — so for this pickup it's usually not a bookable option at all. Uber's standard tier, where the app has cars, dispatches a regular metered taxi (about ¥20,000–25,000 here). Our fixed ¥19,000 is booked and confirmed in advance with tolls included, with a HiAce (up to 9 passengers) available — in areas like this, pre-arranged is really the only door-to-door that you can count on.
We track your flight and the pickup follows your actual landing time — however long the delay runs, and even if it's only a few minutes late. You don't need to tell us or do anything. Your 90 minutes of free waiting are always counted from the moment you actually land, not from the time you originally booked, so immigration, baggage claim and customs are covered. Past 90 minutes waiting is charged (¥6,000 per hour for the Alphard, ¥8,000 for the HiAce, in 15-minute blocks — under 15 minutes is free), and your driver still doesn't leave: if he has another transfer booked after yours, we reassign it to a different driver so he can keep waiting for you.
Before your flight we text or email you a link to your booking page — your driver's name, car and plate once assigned, and a chat with your driver or our team. Meet-and-greet with a name board in the arrivals hall is standard and already included in the price. At a few airports, parking or access restrictions can make a name board impractical; in that case the driver sends you a photo and their exact location in the chat on your booking page instead. If you can't find each other, wait in the arrivals hall and message your driver or our team from your booking page, or call +81 70-8830-8866 — the driver will come and look for you.
Per seat, the train usually wins on paper — around ¥1,200–1,700 per person on this route. But one full-size HiAce (up to 9 passengers) is ¥23,000 fixed for the whole vehicle: ¥2,556 per person with 9 aboard, ¥3,833 with 6 — door-to-door, luggage loaded for you, no station transfers. And since nothing bookable at a taxi rank, on Uber or on a chauffeur app in Japan seats more than 5, from 6 people the van isn't just competitive per person — it's the only way the whole group rides in one vehicle.
The Alphard seats up to 4 with 4 large suitcases plus personal bags on your lap (with fewer passengers, empty seats carry luggage too: passengers plus large suitcases up to 8); the HiAce seats up to 9 with 9 large suitcases (passengers plus large suitcases up to 18) — a full-size van that Uber and the taxi apps don't offer (their largest options seat 5) and that jumbo taxis only match by advance reservation through a taxi company, so your whole group stays together in one vehicle. We can't see your bags in advance, so if passengers plus large suitcases go over those totals, we'd suggest the HiAce or a second car — a suggestion, not a requirement. Infant and child seats (both forward-facing) and booster cushions are ¥2,000 each and need to be booked in advance.
A private transfer is a direct ride. One short stop on the way — under 30 minutes, such as a photo or a convenience store — can be added with Driver assistance (¥3,000 Alphard / ¥4,000 HiAce) when you book; write the stop in your booking notes. For two or more stops, or any stop of 30 minutes or more, book a private charter by the hour instead — the car waits while you sightsee. On drives of more than two hours, restroom breaks on the way are free.
Every booking includes: a dedicated agent from booking to landing; a meet-and-greet in the arrivals hall with a name-board sign; flight tracking with 90 minutes' free wait and any delay covered; our driver-no-show guarantee — if a driver doesn't show, your ride is free: we refund your fare in full, cover whatever you took instead (taxi, train, no cap), and add ¥10,000. No claim needed; we contact you first. Every booking also includes an English-speaking agent paired with a licensed professional driver; the founder's direct line for any escalation; and one fixed price with tolls, late-night charges and parking all included.
Cancel 24 hours or more before pickup for a full refund, free of charge — date, time or destination changes in the same window are free as well (any fare difference is settled). Within 24 hours of pickup the fare isn't refundable. If the airline cancels your flight or moves it to another day, send us the airline's notice or your new flight details and choose either a free rebooking or a full refund — your choice, even inside 24 hours. Refunds are returned to your original payment method within two weeks.
For one or two travellers with hand luggage, the μ-SKY is better value and lands you next to Nagoya Station in about 28 minutes. From three people the fixed ¥19,000 car (up to 4) undercuts a metered taxi from the airport and takes you to the door of any address in the 16 wards — no subway change at the far end, no queue at the rank. A group of five to nine is where it stops being a question: one ¥23,000 HiAce instead of two or three taxis or nine train tickets, about 45 minutes, the same price at any hour.
The Meitetsu line and the airport buses both stop for the night, and taxis at the rank thin out with the last arrivals. A car booked against your flight number is waiting whatever time you clear customs — the driver tracks the flight and the fixed price does not change for a night arrival.
Yes. The price you see is the price you pay — tolls, parking, fuel and taxes are all included, and meet & greet with a name board at arrivals is standard. Free waiting is 90 minutes from your actual landing. Tipping is never expected — never required. The only extras are options you choose yourself, such as child seats or waiting beyond the free allowance. Waiting past the free allowance is ¥6,000/hour for an Alphard and ¥8,000/hour for a HiAce, in 15-minute blocks — and your driver does not leave when it runs out: if he has another transfer after yours, we reassign it so he can keep waiting. The only exception: if we get no reply from you on any channel the day before and on the day itself, the driver may leave once the free 90 minutes from your actual landing are up.
