This was such an easy stress free experience. I have taken many airport transfers and this was by far the easiest and most efficient experience I have ever had. The communication was frequent and proactive. I cannot say enough about this company. 100% recommend

Hiroshima to Miyajimaguchi
~40 min door-to-door — no 0–2 train transfers with luggage
Private car, just your group — leave Hiroshima exactly when you want
Direct to Miyajimaguchi, bags loaded for you
One car for the family — Alphard 4+4 or HiAce 9+9
By train, Hiroshima to Miyajimaguchi runs about 0.5–1 hr with 0–2 transfers depending on the departure, around ¥400–800 per person, and you carry your bags to and from the stations. The JR Sanyo Line and the Hiroden streetcar both run to Miyajimaguchi for the ferry; with luggage, for example on the way to a ryokan on the island, a car from your hotel to the ferry terminal saves carrying bags through the stations. A private car turns it into a single door-to-door ride: pickup at your Hiroshima hotel or address, about 40 minutes on the road, and drop-off at your Miyajimaguchi address — one fixed price of ¥25,000 (up to 4 in an Alphard, or ¥31,000 for up to 9 in a HiAce), tolls included, the same price at any hour.

Frequently Asked Questions
For most people on this route: take public transport. The train is 0.5–1 hr with 0–2 transfer(s) at ¥400 per person; the drive is about 40 min but costs ¥25,000. We're the more expensive option here and we'd rather say so. A private car earns its price on this route only in specific cases: you're 5–9 people or carrying more suitcases than a sedan holds (the HiAce seats 9 with 9 large cases); you need child seats fitted (¥2,000 each, booked ahead); you're arriving after the last train; or you simply don't want to move luggage through stations with kids or elderly parents in tow.
The most direct rail route is the JR Sanyō Line (JR山陽本線(岡山-岩国)) — 0.5–1 hr in total with 0–2 transfer(s), around ¥400–800 per person. If that works for your group and your luggage, take it — it's cheaper than we are and we'd rather you got there happily than overpaid us.
About 40 min for the roughly 24 km door-to-door. By comparison, the train is 0.5–1 hr with 0–2 transfers.
A taxi's real advantage is that it's there without booking, and for one or two people with light bags that's often the sensible choice — we won't pretend otherwise. Where it fits less well is the longer run to the Miyajima ferry pier. The fare is metered — for this distance it runs about ¥10,000 with the expressway tolls and booking fee on top, and the meter climbs higher in heavy traffic or with a 20% night surcharge between 22:00 and 05:00. Booked through an app, the figure you accept at request time is an estimate — the card is charged whatever the meter and the taxi company's pickup fee actually come to. A sedan taxi seats only 4 with room for a bag or two, can't fit a child seat, and with a language barrier it's hard to explain exactly where you need to go. We're fixed at ¥25,000 — a guaranteed all-in price, tolls included and no night surcharge; no pickup fee, no return fee, no clock running at red lights or in traffic, and apart from waiting beyond the free allowance nothing else is ever charged — and you get a premium Alphard or a HiAce (up to 9 passengers), child seats on request, and a driver who picks you up at your door, on time.
A note before comparing: Uber's premium tier (Uber Premier) only covers pickups in a handful of Japanese cities and airports, and Hiroshima isn't in any of the service areas Uber has announced as of November 2026 — so for this pickup it's usually not a bookable option at all. Uber's standard tier, where the app has cars, dispatches a regular metered taxi (about ¥10,000 plus tolls here). Our fixed ¥25,000 is booked and confirmed in advance with tolls included, with a HiAce (up to 9 passengers) available — what that buys is a driver confirmed before you travel and child seats fitted on request, not the only way to get there.
Before pickup we text or email you a link to your booking page — your driver's name, car and plate once assigned, and a chat with your driver or our team. The driver then meets you at your Hiroshima pickup point and loads your luggage. You leave exactly when you want; we handle the route, tolls and parking.
Per seat, the train usually wins on paper — around ¥400–800 per person on this route. But one full-size HiAce (up to 9 passengers) is ¥31,000 fixed for the whole vehicle: ¥3,444 per person with 9 aboard, ¥5,167 with 6 — door-to-door, luggage loaded for you, no station transfers. For comparison, the largest car Uber lists at Japan's main airports takes 5 passengers, and jumbo taxis for up to 9 passengers have to be reserved in advance through a taxi company; one HiAce carries up to 9 passengers with 9 large suitcases and 9 carry-ons.
The Alphard seats up to 4 with 4 large suitcases plus personal bags on your lap (with fewer passengers, empty seats carry luggage too: passengers plus large suitcases up to 8); the HiAce seats up to 9 with 9 large suitcases (passengers plus large suitcases up to 18) — a full-size van that Uber and the taxi apps don't offer (their largest options seat 5) and that jumbo taxis only match by advance reservation through a taxi company, so your whole group stays together in one vehicle. We can't see your bags in advance, so if passengers plus large suitcases go over those totals, we'd suggest the HiAce or a second car — a suggestion, not a requirement. Infant and child seats (both forward-facing) and booster cushions are ¥2,000 each and need to be booked in advance.
A private transfer is a direct ride. One short stop on the way — under 30 minutes, such as a photo or a convenience store — can be added with Driver assistance (¥3,000 Alphard / ¥4,000 HiAce) when you book; write the stop in your booking notes. For two or more stops, or any stop of 30 minutes or more, book a private charter by the hour instead — the car waits while you sightsee. On drives of more than two hours, restroom breaks on the way are free.
Every booking includes: a dedicated agent from booking to drop-off; a door pickup confirmed with you in advance; our driver-no-show guarantee — if a driver doesn't show, your ride is free: we refund your fare in full, cover whatever you took instead (taxi, train, no cap), and add ¥10,000. No claim needed; we contact you first. Every booking also includes an English-speaking agent paired with a licensed professional driver; an urgent line on the day (call or WhatsApp +81 70-8830-8866 — we reply in English); and one fixed price with tolls, late-night charges and parking all included.
Cancel 24 hours or more before pickup for a full refund, free of charge — date, time or destination changes in the same window are free as well (any fare difference is settled). Within 24 hours of pickup the fare isn't refundable. Refunds are returned to your original payment method within two weeks.
Travelling light, take the JR train — it's direct and inexpensive. A car is worth it with suitcases, small children or older relatives: a fixed ¥25,000 for up to 4 or ¥31,000 for up to 9 from your Hiroshima hotel to the ferry terminal, about 40 minutes.
No — our car stops at the ferry terminal at Miyajimaguchi, and you cross to the island on foot on the JR or Matsudai ferry.
Yes. The price you see is the price you pay — tolls, parking, fuel and taxes are all included. Free waiting at pickup is 30 minutes. Tipping is never expected — never required. The only extras are options you choose yourself, such as child seats or waiting beyond the free allowance. After the free 30 minutes your driver may have another booking, so he can wait longer only if his schedule allows — if you might be late, tell us as early as possible; if he can't wait, we do our best to make it work, and if that isn't possible he has to leave and the ride is cancelled without a refund. Any extra waiting is ¥6,000/hour for an Alphard and ¥8,000/hour for a HiAce, in 15-minute blocks (under 15 minutes is free). If we get no reply from you on any channel the day before and on the day itself, the driver may leave once the free 30 minutes are up — that counts as a no-show and is not refunded. Yes. A rydagent.com booking link can carry the whole trip, so you can send it to the person you're booking for, or open one an AI assistant gives you: it opens with the fixed price showing, and nothing is booked until you add your contact details and pay or reserve. For this route with 2 passengers: rydagent.com/en/booking?from=Hiroshima&to=Miyajimaguchi&pax=2 — it opens at ¥25,000 for an Alphard (up to 4 passengers), tolls included. Add &date=YYYY-MM-DD&time=HH:MM (Japan time, 24-hour clock; for an airport pickup, your landing time) to fill in the day, and change pax for 1–9 passengers — 5 or more selects the HiAce (up to 9 passengers).
