Can you pick me up at a station or an Airbnb?

Yes — RydAgent picks up at train stations, Airbnbs and other rental homes anywhere you can book in Japan. Stations and narrow residential streets often don't allow cars to stop at the door, so your driver parks at the nearest spot where stopping is legal and waits by the car; it can be a short walk away. When your driver arrives we notify you, and your booking page shows their name, car and plate, with a chat to message them. If you want your driver to come into the station to the ticket gates or help with your bags, add Driver assistance when you book.

How a station or rental-home pickup works

    For a station, type the station name; for an Airbnb, the full address. Put the building name, entrance or exit you'll use in NOTES.

    They stop at the nearest legal spot and wait by the car.

    We notify you on arrival

    You get a message that your driver has arrived, with a link to your booking page: name, car and plate are there.

    Message your driver to find each other

    Use the chat on your booking page. You write in your language, your driver reads it in theirs.

Can my driver meet me inside the station and help with luggage?

Yes, with Driver assistance: add it under Add-ons when you book (¥3,000 for an Alphard, ¥4,000 for a HiAce, per 30 minutes; 30 minutes minimum) and write what you need. Your driver then parks, walks into the station and meets you outside the ticket gates. Meeting you inside the gates or on the platform isn't offered.

What if my train is late?

Trains aren't tracked — only flights are. Free waiting at a station is 30 minutes from your booked time. If your train is running late, message us or your driver as early as you can. Whether your driver can wait longer depends on their next ride; if they can, extra waiting is ¥6,000 an hour for an Alphard or ¥8,000 for a HiAce, in 15-minute blocks, and under 15 minutes isn't charged.

My wife and I had a flawless experience using this transfer service from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Central Tokyo. Although we are in our 70s, we are experienced travelers and usually take public transit or a taxi from airports to hotels. However, this was our first trip to Asia and with a 12-hour flight from Chicago, we decided that we needed to make the hotel transfer easy. And it was. Communication with the company was excellent. They messaged me through WhatsApp several times to make everything was clear. In fact, I messaged them when we landed, that the plane was an hour early and hoped they could pick us up sooner. They responded yes and sure enough our driver,John, was there to meet us past customs. John was very friendly and very professional. His English was excellent. He handled the luggage. Professional service that takes the stress out of airport transfers. Our family has been to Tokyo a few times. Airport transfer by train, taxi, and private car. This service is good value, especially for groups. We had a very comfortable and well kept vehicle. Driver was very professional, polite, and easy to work with. We had an hour long flight delay and sat on the runway for 20 minutes after landing. This service was very flexible and helpful through the situation. Driver was patiently waiting when we arrived.

Karazawa Ryou was our driver. He texted us his contact info via Whatsap the day before our flight. In between flights, we learned that our connecting flight had been delayed. Instead of arriving at 9:15pm, we would now be arriving at I1:30pm. Such a significant amount of delay time...plus, arriving so much LATER at night, I was worried that our driver would no longer be able to pick us up. I notified him, and he responded, "Don't worry. I'll wait for you. See you later." He even included a smiley face! I went from panic to peace in an instant. As we were exiting the plane, I received a text from him notifying me that we had landed at Terminal 2, so it would be quicker to get out. I should let him know once we had picked up our luggage, and he would be at the exit within one minute with a sign. I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly this process went, and the SUV exceeded my expectations. It was lush and immaculately clean. I commend the driver on his professionalism and would not hesitate to hire him again. This experience was BETTER THAN PERFECT!
