This was such an easy stress free experience. I have taken many airport transfers and this was by far the easiest and most efficient experience I have ever had. The communication was frequent and proactive. I cannot say enough about this company. 100% recommend

Haneda Airport to Echigo-Yuzawa
~3 hr direct — vs 2.5–5.5 hr and 2–4 train transfers
Name-board meet-and-greet at arrivals, included in the price
Flight tracked — 90 min free wait counted from your actual landing time
One car for the family — Alphard 4+4 or HiAce 9+9
Echigo-Yuzawa is a Joetsu Shinkansen stop in Niigata's snow country, and by train it's quick on paper: NAVITIME's fastest route from Haneda takes about 155 minutes — the Tokyo Monorail, a JR line into central Tokyo, then the Shinkansen to Echigo-Yuzawa. That's two changes with your ski bags, including the Shinkansen gates in central Tokyo, and from Echigo-Yuzawa Station you still need a shuttle, a taxi or a walk to your hotel. A private car meets you in the Haneda arrivals hall with a name board, follows your actual landing time, and takes you to your hotel in about 3 hours on the Kan-Etsu Expressway. RydAgent's Haneda to Echigo-Yuzawa transfer is the same price to the station area and the resorts around it — GALA Yuzawa, Yuzawa Kogen, Iwappara, NASPA Ski Garden and Ishiuchi Maruyama: ¥81,000 for up to 4 passengers in a Toyota Alphard, or ¥97,000 for up to 9 in a Toyota HiAce, tolls included. Naeba and Kagura are priced by their own address — enter your hotel on the booking page to see the price. With a suitcase and a ski bag each, the Alphard takes up to 2 skiers and one HiAce up to 6, and in the snow season (roughly November to April) the car runs on winter tyres as standard.

Frequently Asked Questions
On this route, usually yes — the train is the cheapest per person (¥5,700–6,900) but means 2–4 transfers dragging luggage; a private car is direct door-to-door, flight-tracked, and fixed at ¥81,000; for a party of 4 that's ≈¥20,250 each with zero transfers. Per person, one or two travellers with light luggage will still pay less on public transport — the private car wins on luggage, group size and not changing trains, not on being the cheapest.
The most direct rail route is the Tokyo Monorail (東京モノレール空港快速), JR Keihin-Tōhoku / Negishi Line (Rapid) (JR京浜東北線・根岸線快速), then the Toki Shinkansen (Jōetsu) (とき) — 2.5–5.5 hr in total with 2–4 transfer(s), around ¥5,700–6,900 per person. If that works for your group and your luggage, take it — it's cheaper than we are and we'd rather you got there happily than overpaid us.
Japan's rail network shuts down overnight — trains stop running around midnight and don't start again until roughly 5 a.m., so there is a genuine window where no train exists at any price. The part people underestimate is that you can't reach a platform the moment the wheels touch down: immigration, baggage claim and customs typically take 30–60 minutes, so a landing at 22:30 can easily mean the last departure has gone before you clear the airport. Departure times change with each timetable revision, so check the exact last services for your own date on Haneda Airport's official train access page (https://tokyo-haneda.com/en/access/train/index.html) rather than trusting any figure quoted second-hand. If the trains have gone, the realistic options are a metered taxi — about ¥85,000–110,000 plus tolls for this distance, a range whose upper end already reflects the 20% late-night rate charged between 22:00 and 05:00 — or a car booked in advance. Ours is fixed at ¥81,000 whatever time you land, with no late-night surcharge, and the 90 minutes of free waiting are counted from your actual landing time, so a delayed flight doesn't eat into it.
About 3 hr for the roughly 220 km door-to-door. By comparison, the train is 2.5–5.5 hr with 2–4 transfers.
The drive leaves Haneda on the Shuto Expressway; expressway tolls for the whole journey are already included in the fixed price. On weekdays the expressways around Tokyo are busiest roughly 07:00–09:00 and 17:00–19:00, and holiday mornings add outbound leisure traffic — early-morning, midday and late-evening runs are usually the quickest. The 3 hr / 220 km (137 mi) estimate assumes normal conditions, and the fixed price is the same at any hour — your driver tracks the flight, so a delayed or late-night landing costs nothing extra.
A taxi's real advantage is that it's there without booking, and for one or two people with light bags that's often the sensible choice — we won't pretend otherwise. Where it fits less well is the longer run to Echigo-Yuzawa. First you queue at the airport taxi rank; then the fare is metered — for this distance it runs about ¥85,000–110,000 with the expressway tolls and booking fee on top, and the meter climbs higher in heavy traffic or with a 20% night surcharge between 22:00 and 05:00. Booked through an app, the figure you accept at request time is an estimate — the card is charged whatever the meter and the taxi company's pickup fee actually come to. A sedan taxi seats only 4 with room for a bag or two, can't fit a child seat, and with a language barrier it's hard to explain exactly where you need to go. We're fixed at ¥81,000 — less than the meter, tolls included and no night surcharge; no pickup fee, no return fee, no clock running at red lights or in traffic, and apart from waiting beyond the free allowance nothing else is ever charged — and you get a premium Alphard or a HiAce (up to 9 passengers), child seats on request, flight tracking, and a driver who meets you so you skip the queue.
You can — Uber Premier uses Alphard-class cars, the same class as the Toyota Alphard we use. The catch on a run this long is the pricing model: it's dynamic, from around ¥79,000 up to ¥119,000 with surge, while we're fixed at ¥81,000 all-in, tolls included, whatever the demand that day. Uber's standard tier (Uber Taxi) simply dispatches a regular metered taxi — about ¥85,000–110,000 plus tolls for this route, billed by the meter plus the taxi company's pickup fee, so the final charge often lands above the in-app estimate. And no Uber tier offers a van for up to 9 passengers. Same class of car either way; what you're choosing with us is one price prepaid at booking — no pickup fee, no return fee, no surge, no clock running at red lights or in traffic, and apart from waiting beyond the free allowance nothing else is ever charged — plus child seats on request (¥2,000 each) and a driver tracking your flight and waiting at arrivals.
We track your flight and the pickup follows your actual landing time — however long the delay runs, and even if it's only a few minutes late. You don't need to tell us or do anything. Your 90 minutes of free waiting are always counted from the moment you actually land, not from the time you originally booked, so immigration, baggage claim and customs are covered. Past 90 minutes waiting is charged (¥6,000 per hour for the Alphard, ¥8,000 for the HiAce, in 15-minute blocks — under 15 minutes is free), and your driver still doesn't leave: if he has another transfer booked after yours, we reassign it to a different driver so he can keep waiting for you.
Before your flight we text or email you a link to your booking page — your driver's name, car and plate once assigned, and a chat with your driver or our team. Meet-and-greet with a name board in the arrivals hall is standard and already included in the price. At a few airports, parking or access restrictions can make a name board impractical; in that case the driver sends you a photo and their exact location in the chat on your booking page instead. If you can't find each other, wait in the arrivals hall and message your driver or our team from your booking page, or call +81 70-8830-8866 — the driver will come and look for you.
Per seat, the train usually wins on paper — around ¥5,700–6,900 per person on this route. But one full-size HiAce (up to 9 passengers) is ¥97,000 fixed for the whole vehicle: ¥10,778 per person with 9 aboard, ¥16,167 with 6 — door-to-door, luggage loaded for you, no station transfers. For comparison, the largest car Uber lists at Japan's main airports takes 5 passengers, and jumbo taxis for up to 9 passengers have to be reserved in advance through a taxi company; one HiAce carries up to 9 passengers with 9 large suitcases and 9 carry-ons. With a suitcase and a ski bag each, one HiAce takes up to 6 skiers.
The Alphard seats up to 4 with 4 large suitcases plus personal bags on your lap (with fewer passengers, empty seats carry luggage too: passengers plus large suitcases up to 8); the HiAce seats up to 9 with 9 large suitcases (passengers plus large suitcases up to 18) — a full-size van that Uber and the taxi apps don't offer (their largest options seat 5) and that jumbo taxis only match by advance reservation through a taxi company, so your whole group stays together in one vehicle. We can't see your bags in advance, so if passengers plus large suitcases go over those totals, we'd suggest the HiAce or a second car — a suggestion, not a requirement. Infant and child seats (both forward-facing) and booster cushions are ¥2,000 each and need to be booked in advance.
A private transfer is a direct ride. One short stop on the way — under 30 minutes, such as a photo or a convenience store — can be added with Driver assistance (¥3,000 Alphard / ¥4,000 HiAce) when you book; write the stop in your booking notes. For two or more stops, or any stop of 30 minutes or more, book a private charter by the hour instead — the car waits while you sightsee. On drives of more than two hours, restroom breaks on the way are free.
Every booking includes: a dedicated agent from booking to landing; a meet-and-greet in the arrivals hall with a name-board sign; flight tracking with 90 minutes' free wait and any delay covered; our driver-no-show guarantee — if a driver doesn't show, your ride is free: we refund your fare in full, cover whatever you took instead (taxi, train, no cap), and add ¥10,000. No claim needed; we contact you first. Every booking also includes an English-speaking agent paired with a licensed professional driver; an urgent line on the day (call or WhatsApp +81 70-8830-8866 — we reply in English); and one fixed price with tolls, late-night charges and parking all included.
Cancel 24 hours or more before pickup for a full refund, free of charge — date, time or destination changes in the same window are free as well (any fare difference is settled). Within 24 hours of pickup the fare isn't refundable. If the airline cancels your flight or moves it to another day, send us the airline's notice or your new flight details and choose either a free rebooking or a full refund — your choice, even inside 24 hours. Refunds are returned to your original payment method within two weeks.
On paper, yes: NAVITIME's fastest train route takes about 155 minutes, against about 3 hours by car, and per person the train costs far less. The catch is the two changes — the Tokyo Monorail onto a JR line, then onto the Joetsu Shinkansen in central Tokyo — with ski bags and suitcases, plus getting from Echigo-Yuzawa Station to your hotel at the far end. For one or two people travelling light, take the train. For a family or a group with ski gear, a private car is one ride from the arrivals hall to the hotel door: ¥81,000 for up to 4 passengers (Toyota Alphard) or ¥97,000 for up to 9 (Toyota HiAce), fixed, tolls included.
RydAgent's Haneda to Echigo-Yuzawa price is the same to Echigo-Yuzawa Station and the hotels around it, and to the resorts nearby — GALA Yuzawa, Yuzawa Kogen, Iwappara, NASPA Ski Garden and Ishiuchi Maruyama: ¥81,000 for up to 4 passengers or ¥97,000 for up to 9. Naeba and Kagura are priced by their own address; enter your hotel on the booking page and it shows the price instantly.
You can book online up to 4 hours before pickup (bookings made between 20:00 and 08:00 Japan time can start from 12:00), subject to availability. For anything sooner, message us on WhatsApp and we'll check whether a car can be arranged. Booking late costs the same fixed price — no rush fee. The ride back is different: Echigo-Yuzawa is more than 50 km by road from the nearest partner base, so a pickup there needs at least 24 hours' notice, and online booking for it runs until 20:00 Japan time the day before the ride, subject to availability.
Yes. Ski and snowboard bags count as large luggage and ride inside the car. With a suitcase and a ski bag each, a Toyota Alphard (up to 4 passengers) suits up to 2 skiers and one Toyota HiAce (up to 9 passengers) up to 6; for 7 or more we suggest a second car, or sending some bags ahead by takkyubin (Japan's door-to-door luggage delivery). Tell us how many bags you have and how long they are when you book. In the snow season (roughly November to April) the car runs on winter tyres as standard — you don't need to request them.
Yes. The price you see is the price you pay — tolls, parking, fuel and taxes are all included, and meet & greet with a name board at arrivals is standard. Free waiting is 90 minutes from your actual landing. Tipping is never expected — never required. The only extras are options you choose yourself, such as child seats or waiting beyond the free allowance. Waiting past the free allowance is ¥6,000/hour for an Alphard and ¥8,000/hour for a HiAce, in 15-minute blocks — and your driver does not leave when it runs out: if he has another transfer after yours, we reassign it so he can keep waiting. The only exception: if we get no reply from you on any channel the day before and on the day itself, the driver may leave once the free 90 minutes from your actual landing are up. Yes. A rydagent.com booking link can carry the whole trip, so you can send it to the person you're booking for, or open one an AI assistant gives you: it opens with the fixed price showing, and nothing is booked until you add your contact details and pay or reserve. For this route with 2 passengers: rydagent.com/en/booking?from=Haneda%20Airport&to=Echigo-Yuzawa&pax=2 — it opens at ¥81,000 for an Alphard (up to 4 passengers), tolls included. Add &date=YYYY-MM-DD&time=HH:MM (Japan time, 24-hour clock; for an airport pickup, your landing time) to fill in the day, and change pax for 1–9 passengers — 5 or more selects the HiAce (up to 9 passengers).
