Hourly Charter
Need a car and driver for the day? Charter service covers sightseeing, business meetings, multi-stop shopping trips, or anything that doesn't fit a point-to-point transfer.
| Vehicle | Hourly Rate | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Toyota Alphard (4 pax) | ¥7,000/hr | 5 hours |
| Toyota HiAce (9 pax) | ¥8,000/hr | 5 hours |
Includes 40 km per hour. Overtime is 120% of the hourly rate. Parking and local tolls included; highway tolls are separate and charged at actual cost. Popular charter routes from Tokyo include Hakone, Kamakura, and Mt. Fuji day trips.

The 2-day structure accounts for 5–6 hours driving time plus sightseeing stops and Japanese driver hour regulations. Includes driver overnight fee.

FAQ
Which airport should I fly into — Narita or Haneda?
If you're staying in central Tokyo, Haneda is closer and cheaper for transfers (¥16,000 vs ¥24,000 for an Alphard). Narita is further out but serves more international routes. Both airports have reliable private transfer options to all Tokyo-area destinations.
Can I get a meet & greet with a name board?
Yes, it's an optional add-on for ¥2,000 (airport pickup only, subject to airport conditions). Without it, your driver contacts you directly and coordinates pickup at the terminal.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
RydAgent monitors your flight. Delays over 20 minutes trigger automatic pickup time adjustment. Free waiting is 1 hour from actual landing. You don't need to call or message — it happens automatically.
How do Alphard and HiAce compare?
The Alphard is a premium minivan — comfortable for up to 4 passengers with 4 large suitcases. The HiAce Grand Cabin is a larger van for groups of up to 9 passengers with 8 large suitcases. Choose based on your group size and luggage.
Are tolls and highway fees included?
For point-to-point transfers (airport, port, Disney, etc.), all tolls are included in the fixed price. For hourly charter, parking and local tolls are included but highway tolls are charged separately at actual cost.
