What's included in the price?

RydAgent's price is a fixed price per vehicle, not per person, and it's all-inclusive: tolls, parking, fuel, taxes, and meet & greet with a name board on airport pickups. Free waiting is included — 90 minutes from actual landing on airport pickups timed to your flight, 30 minutes on other transfers; on hourly charters, waiting is part of your booked hours. Tipping is never expected — never required. The only extras are ones you choose. The price you see on the booking page is the amount you pay — no rush fee, no late-night surcharge.

How your price is set

    Enter your trip

    Add your pickup, drop-off, date and number of passengers. The booking page shows a fixed price for each vehicle — Alphard and HiAce.

    Add only what you need

    Child seats, Driver assistance and an English-speaking driver are optional add-ons on the same page, and the total updates as you choose.

    Pay the total you see

    Consumption tax is already in it. Booking at short notice or for a late-night ride doesn't change the price.

    Nothing to settle at the end

    Your driver doesn't collect anything for the ride itself. What can come up on the day is extra time (waiting past the free time, or extending a charter), driving beyond the 40 km per hour included on a charter, or a cleaning fee if the car needs cleaning.

What costs extra?

Only things you choose or ask for:

  • Infant seat, child seat or booster seat: ¥2,000 each.
  • Driver assistance (help at a station, hotel check-in or a ticket machine): ¥3,000 per 30 minutes in an Alphard, ¥4,000 in a HiAce.
  • English-speaking driver: 20% of the fare.
  • Waiting past the free time: ¥6,000 an hour (Alphard) or ¥8,000 (HiAce), in 15-minute blocks; under 15 minutes isn't charged.
  • A second drop-off or pick-up on the way: Driver assistance based on the drive between the two places — one block up to 30 minutes, two up to 60.
  • Multi-day charters: ¥10,000 per night when your driver stays overnight away from base.

Does a charter cost more if it ends somewhere else?

The booking page works that in for you: when a charter ends away from where it started, your driver's drive back is already part of the price shown. Extending on the road is charged at the same hourly rate in 15-minute blocks.

My wife and I had a flawless experience using this transfer service from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Central Tokyo. Although we are in our 70s, we are experienced travelers and usually take public transit or a taxi from airports to hotels. However, this was our first trip to Asia and with a 12-hour flight from Chicago, we decided that we needed to make the hotel transfer easy. And it was. Communication with the company was excellent. They messaged me through WhatsApp several times to make everything was clear. In fact, I messaged them when we landed, that the plane was an hour early and hoped they could pick us up sooner. They responded yes and sure enough our driver,John, was there to meet us past customs. John was very friendly and very professional. His English was excellent. He handled the luggage. The vehicle was comfortable. He made us feel welcome. I highly recommend them and would use them again without hesitation.

Professional service that takes the stress out of airport transfers. Our family has been to Tokyo a few times. Airport transfer by train, taxi, and private car. This service is good value, especially for groups. We had a very comfortable and well kept vehicle. Driver was very professional, polite, and easy to work with. We had an hour long flight delay and sat on the runway for 20 minutes after landing. This service was very flexible and helpful through the situation. Driver was patiently waiting when we arrived.

Karazawa Ryou was our driver. He texted us his contact info via Whatsap the day before our flight. In between flights, we learned that our connecting flight had been delayed. Instead of arriving at 9:15pm, we would now be arriving at I1:30pm. Such a significant amount of delay time...plus, arriving so much LATER at night, I was worried that our driver would no longer be able to pick us up. I notified him, and he responded, "Don't worry. I'll wait for you. See you later." He even included a smiley face! I went from panic to peace in an instant. As we were exiting the plane, I received a text from him notifying me that we had landed at Terminal 2, so it would be quicker to get out. I should let him know once we had picked up our luggage, and he would be at the exit within one minute with a sign. I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly this process went, and the SUV exceeded my expectations. It was lush and immaculately clean. I commend the driver on his professionalism and would not hesitate to hire him again. This experience was BETTER THAN PERFECT!
