Quick AnswerBy public transport, Kiroro is reached via Otaru or Sapporo. From New Chitose Airport, JR's Rapid Airport runs to Otaru without a change for ¥2,040 per adult (1 hour 14–23 minutes on daytime through trains; from about 7 pm most trains need a change at Sapporo), and for the last stretch you take Hokkaido Access Network's reservation-only bus (¥2,200 per adult, daily from 1 December 2026) or a taxi (from about ¥12,000 one way and about 40 minutes, by the resort's estimate; no taxis wait at Kiroro, so book the ride back). From central Sapporo, the reservation-only Kiroro–Sapporo Liner runs daily from 10 December 2026, in principle for guests of the hotels it stops at. For one or two people travelling light, train and bus cost far less; with ski bags and a group, a private car saves the change at Otaru. A RydAgent private car from New Chitose Airport to Kiroro is a fixed ¥59,000 per Toyota Alphard (up to 4 passengers) or ¥62,000 per Toyota HiAce (up to 9 passengers), about 90 minutes door to door to YU Kiroro or either Club Med resort — and the same ¥59,000 / ¥62,000 from central Sapporo. You’re always in the loop — AI or a real person responds instantly, so you’re never left wondering where your driver is. Book in 30 seconds at rydagent.com — no sign-up, no login required.

RydAgent private carLicensed commercial vehicles (green plates) and professional driversAbout 90 min, door to door¥59,000 per car (Alphard, up to 4 passengers) · ¥62,000 per car (HiAce, up to 9 passengers)Fixed price per car, the same to YU Kiroro and both Club Med resorts; flight tracked, 90 minutes' free waiting from actual landing; studless winter tyres as standard in the snow season, nothing to request.

To Otaru by JR, 4 adults pay ¥8,160 and 6 adults ¥12,240; even with the bus or taxi from Otaru on top, that is still less than a RydAgent private car at ¥59,000 per Alphard or ¥62,000 per HiAce. What a private car adds is one vehicle from the arrivals hall to the hotel door: no change at Otaru with skis, and a pickup that follows your actual landing. With a suitcase and a ski bag each, we recommend the HiAce for three or more skiers; one HiAce takes up to six.

Booking with RydAgent: what you get

  • Fixed price per car: tolls, parking, fuel and taxes included, no late-night surcharge or rush fee, and tipping is never expected.
  • Free waiting: 90 minutes from actual landing on airport pickups — your driver tracks the flight — and 30 minutes on other transfers; after that, ¥6,000 per hour for an Alphard or ¥8,000 for a HiAce, in 15-minute blocks (under 15 minutes is free). On hourly charters, waiting is part of your booked hours.
  • Toyota Alphard: up to 4 passengers and 4 large suitcases. Toyota HiAce: up to 9 passengers and 9 large suitcases. Fewer passengers, more room: empty seats carry luggage (passengers + large bags up to 8 in the Alphard, 18 in the HiAce). Ski and snowboard bags count as large bags: with a suitcase and a ski bag each, an Alphard suits up to two skiers, so for three or more we recommend the HiAce; one HiAce suits up to six of them, and for seven or more we recommend a second car or sending bags ahead. Tell us how many bags and how long they are when you book.
  • Child seats ¥2,000 each — requested at booking and fitted before pickup.
  • Book online in 30 seconds with no account or login. Every ride can be booked online until 20:00 Japan time the day before, subject to availability; pickups more than 50 km from the nearest partner base — most ski resorts and mountain villages — also need 24 hours' notice. For a same-day ride, message us on WhatsApp and we'll see whether a car can be arranged.
  • Free cancellation or changes up to 24 hours before pickup. If the airline cancels your flight or moves it to another day, you choose a free change or a full refund — even inside 24 hours (airport rides booked with a flight number).
  • Licensed commercial vehicles (green plates) and professional drivers, with commercial passenger insurance — including rides run by partner companies.
  • Booking and support in English. Most drivers have basic English and use a translation app to communicate; an English-speaking driver can be requested for 20% extra.

Ski and snowboard bags count as large luggage: an Alphard takes up to 4 passengers and 4 large suitcases, and a HiAce up to 9 and 9 with every seat taken; with fewer passengers, empty seats carry luggage too (passengers plus large bags up to 8 in the Alphard, 18 in the HiAce). Winter tyres, yes: from November to April, the snow season, every car we arrange runs on studless winter tyres as standard, so there is nothing to request and nothing to write in the booking notes. We don't promise tyre chains; that depends on the vehicle on the day.

Rides between New Chitose Airport or Sapporo and Kiroro, in either direction, can be booked online until 20:00 Japan time the day before, subject to availability. For anything sooner, message us on WhatsApp and we'll check whether a car can be arranged.

— J C

The driver contacted us as soon as we landed in Tokyo. He provided clear instructions how to meet after we got our luggage. He had to wait an extra 30 mins since our plane was delayed. Great service, great / clean car and a nice ride to our hotel. Thanks.

— Henry Avetisyan, Jul 2026

My wife and I had a flawless experience using this transfer service from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Central Tokyo. Although we are in our 70s, we are experienced travelers and usually take public transit or a taxi from airports to hotels. However, this was our first trip to Asia and with a 12-hour flight from Chicago, we decided that we needed to make the hotel transfer easy. And it was. Communication with the company was excellent. They messaged me through WhatsApp several times to make everything was clear. In fact, I messaged them when we landed, that the plane was an hour early and hoped they could pick us up sooner. They responded yes and sure enough our driver,John, was there to meet us past customs. John was very friendly and very professional. His English was excellent. He handled the luggage. The vehicle was comfortable. He made us feel welcome. I highly recommend them and would use them again without hesitation.

— S Lund, May 2026

— Michael Bakov, Jul 2026

Our driver picked us up at our hotel and dropped us at Haneda Airport Departures (Terminal 3) as requested. It was a very comfortable and safe ride and the vehicle was very clean and spacious. Thank you so much!

— Valerie Pendon, Jun 2026

Great experience using this private transfer from our hotel to Haneda Airport. Booking was easy, and when we needed to adjust our pickup time, the operator was very responsive. The driver arrived on time and the ride was smooth and stress-free. Would definitely use again.

— Karen Kiefer-Fujimoto, Jun 2026

Professional service that takes the stress out of airport transfers. Our family has been to Tokyo a few times. Airport transfer by train, taxi, and private car. This service is good value, especially for groups. We had a very comfortable and well kept vehicle. Driver was very professional, polite, and easy to work with. We had an hour long flight delay and sat on the runway for 20 minutes after landing. This service was very flexible and helpful through the situation. Driver was patiently waiting when we arrived.

— Mark OBrien, Jun 2026

Karazawa Ryou was our driver. He texted us his contact info via Whatsap the day before our flight. In between flights, we learned that our connecting flight had been delayed. Instead of arriving at 9:15pm, we would now be arriving at I1:30pm. Such a significant amount of delay time...plus, arriving so much LATER at night, I was worried that our driver would no longer be able to pick us up. I notified him, and he responded, "Don't worry. I'll wait for you. See you later." He even included a smiley face! I went from panic to peace in an instant. As we were exiting the plane, I received a text from him notifying me that we had landed at Terminal 2, so it would be quicker to get out. I should let him know once we had picked up our luggage, and he would be at the exit within one minute with a sign. I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly this process went, and the SUV exceeded my expectations. It was lush and immaculately clean. I commend the driver on his professionalism and would not hesitate to hire him again. This experience was BETTER THAN PERFECT!

— Cheryl FitzGerald, May 2026

Very nice transfer service. Very helpful and most pleasant experience. Would use them again.

— William Thornton BC Guide Dogs, May 2026
