This was such an easy stress free experience. I have taken many airport transfers and this was by far the easiest and most efficient experience I have ever had. The communication was frequent and proactive. I cannot say enough about this company. 100% recommend
Can I eat, drink or smoke in the car?
Last updated:
In a RydAgent car you can drink water; other drinks and food aren't allowed, and smoking is not allowed at any point of the ride, e-cigarettes included. The rule is the same in the Alphard and the HiAce, on transfers and on hourly charters. If the car needs cleaning after your ride — a spilled drink, food, or a child's accident — a cleaning fee is charged at the cleaning company's actual quote. If you want a break to smoke or eat, plan a stop: on a charter it's part of your hours, and on a transfer a short stop is a small add-on.
The rules in the car
- 1
Water is fine
Bring a bottle of water for the ride — it's the one drink allowed in the car.
- 2
No other drinks or food
Coffee, juice, alcohol, snacks and meals wait until you're out of the car.
- 3
No smoking, e-cigarettes included
Every car is non-smoking for the whole ride, including while the car is parked and waiting for you.
- 4
Cleaning fee if needed
If the car has to be cleaned after your ride, the fee is the cleaning company's actual quote.
Can we stop for a cigarette or something to eat?
Yes. On an hourly charter, stops are part of your booked hours — tell your driver or add them to your plan for the day. On a transfer, one stop of under 30 minutes is added as Driver assistance (¥3,000 for an Alphard, ¥4,000 for a HiAce); a longer stop, such as a sit-down meal, or two or more stops, is booked as an hourly charter, where you set the plan and the hours. On transfers with an estimated drive of over 2 hours, a toilet break at a highway service area is free.
