This was such an easy stress free experience. I have taken many airport transfers and this was by far the easiest and most efficient experience I have ever had. The communication was frequent and proactive. I cannot say enough about this company. 100% recommend

Ibaraki Airport Transfers (IBR)
About Ibaraki Airport
Ibaraki Airport (IBR, ICAO RJAH) is the airport for Mito, about 33 km by road from Mito Station. Taipei (Tigerair Taiwan, daily) is the scheduled international route; the Spring Airlines Shanghai route is suspended until late October 2026. A compact single-level terminal: check-in, security, arrivals and the bus stops are all on the ground floor. There is no rail link; the Kanto Railway bus to Mito Station is ¥1,500, about 40 minutes, first come first served; the Tokyo Station bus has been suspended since 3 August 2026. RydAgent fixed-price transfers run to Mito Station, Tokyo Station, Tsukuba and Hitachi Seaside Park. We do not yet have a driver base here — the nearest is Tokyo — so each fixed price includes the positioning cost; for one or two people the bus is the better buy, and the comparison table below says so.

Where does your driver wait at Ibaraki Airport?
Terminals

A compact single-level terminal: check-in, security, arrivals and the bus stops are all on the ground floor.
Meeting point
As standard, your driver waits in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. Collect your bags, clear customs, walk out — the name board is the first thing you look for. If airport conditions ever make a name board impossible (peak-hour parking restrictions, for example), the driver sends a photo and guides you by WhatsApp to the pickup point, so you are never left searching. At Ibaraki Airport the driver waits in the arrivals lobby and walks you to the car. Ibaraki Airport has no rail link, so from the arrivals hall it is the airport bus, a taxi from the rank, or a booked car.

Landing late at night at Ibaraki Airport?
Ibaraki Airport has no train; after the last airport bus, a metered taxi from the rank is the fallback. A car booked to your flight sidesteps the question — the same fixed price whatever the hour, and the driver waits 90 minutes free from the actual landing time.
