Our driver picked us up at our hotel and dropped us at Haneda Airport Departures (Terminal 3) as requested. It was a very comfortable and safe ride and the vehicle was very clean and spacious. Thank you so much!

Gero is one of Japan's three great onsen towns, and reaching it from Centrair is quirkier than it looks: the much-advertised direct bus from Nagoya is restricted to guests of member ryokan of the local inn association and is fully reservation-based, so for everyone else it's the Meitetsu train into Nagoya, a station change, then the Hida limited express up the Hida river valley. With luggage that's a 3.5–4 hour, two-transfer afternoon. A private car runs about 2.5–3 hours direct from the arrivals hall to your ryokan entrance — a fixed ¥65,000 with tolls included, no membership required.
