This was such an easy stress free experience. I have taken many airport transfers and this was by far the easiest and most efficient experience I have ever had. The communication was frequent and proactive. I cannot say enough about this company. 100% recommend

Sendai Airport Transfers (SDJ)
About Sendai Airport
Sendai Airport (SDJ, ICAO RJSS) is Tohoku's main airport, on the coast in Natori, Miyagi Prefecture, about 22 km by road south of Sendai Station. Domestic and international flights share one terminal, and the Sendai Airport Access Line runs from the attached station into Sendai. It is the gateway to Matsushima Bay and the Tohoku onsen towns — Akiu, Zao, Ginzan, Naruko — none of which has a rail station of its own; RydAgent fixed-price transfers run direct to all of them and to Yamagata.

Where does your driver wait at Sendai Airport?
Terminals
- Single terminal
Domestic and international flights share one terminal building; international arrivals have their own arrivals area. The Sendai Airport Access Line station is attached to the terminal.
Meeting point
As standard, your driver waits in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. Collect your bags, clear customs, walk out — the name board is the first thing you look for. If airport conditions ever make a name board impossible (peak-hour parking restrictions, for example), the driver sends a photo and guides you by WhatsApp to the pickup point, so you are never left searching. At Sendai the driver waits in the arrivals lobby of the terminal. Sendai is the gateway to Tohoku's onsen — Zao, Ginzan, Akiu, Naruko — none of which has a direct rail link from the airport, which is where a car waiting at arrivals pays off.
