Every ANA flight to Japan has a different transfer puzzle — and ANA is the single biggest carrier in our data

ANA (All Nippon Airways, IATA code NH) is Japan's #1 international long-haul carrier and the largest single airline volume in RydAgent's 36,000+ transfer dataset — 1,517 ANA airport transfers since early 2024, more than any other carrier in the system. Across Bangkok, Singapore, San Francisco, Munich, Frankfurt, London, Manila, Jakarta, Mumbai, Delhi, and the full Asia-regional + transpacific + European network, ANA brings a particular traveler profile to Tokyo that demands matching service quality on the ground: business-class transpacific passengers expecting Maybach-grade ground transit, Star Alliance Gold loyalty members carrying status from Mileage Plus, Aeroplan, Miles & More, or KrisFlyer Elite Gold, ANA Diamond Million Mile clients for whom the cabin-to-lobby premium-service arc matters, and three-generation family groups using ANA's deep Asia-Europe network for grandparent-friendly Japan ski trips and shopping tours.

But the optimal ANA-Japan transfer strategy depends entirely on which NH flight you're on — because each landing window hits a different Tokyo logistics gap. NH805 lands HND 07:50 from Bangkok, before any hotel function is operating. NH877 lands NRT 16:00 from Singapore, comfortable for evening dinner plans. NH212 lands NRT 15:30 from San Francisco Business, expecting matching premium-service ground transit. NH847 / NH109 land HND morning from Munich and London for the Marunouchi hotel-bar 19:00 meeting pattern. NH890 lands NRT from Manila with Filipino multi-generational family groups. This guide maps the full ANA schedule to optimal transfer choices, drawing on first-party data from 1,517 real ANA airport transfers processed by RydAgent since December 2025.

If you're on NH805 (BKK 23:55 → HND 07:50) — our #1 ANA flight, 130 bookings

NH805 is the single highest-volume ANA flight in our dataset — 130 transfers since December 2025, more than triple any other single carrier flight in the same period. The Bangkok overnight departure 23:55 and 07:50 HND arrival is the classic Southeast Asia-Tokyo business / family / connection pattern — Thai travelers heading to Japan for shopping and dining tours, business travelers connecting Bangkok-Tokyo with a working morning ahead, Star Alliance Gold expat travelers in Bangkok using the BKK ANA service for the matching cabin experience.

The real NH805 question is the 07:50 landing's mismatch with Tokyo hotel check-in. Most Tokyo hotels (Park Hyatt Tokyo, Mandarin Oriental, Aman Tokyo, Andaz, Hoshinoya, Imperial Hotel) operate standard check-in at 15:00 — meaning a NH805 traveler clears customs by 08:30 with 6.5 hours of dead time before standard check-in. The way around this is Star Alliance Gold status (or Marriott Bonvoy / Hyatt Globalist) early-arrival luggage acceptance. For Star Alliance Gold members flying NH metal: the property's residential-tower lobby (Park Hyatt's case, the Shinjuku Park Tower base, not the office-tower commercial entrance on the Tochomae side) accepts early luggage handoff with concierge greeting. RydAgent Alphard HND → Park Hyatt Tokyo or Mandarin Oriental or Aman ¥16,000 fixed. Driver pulls into the correct entrance (which side of the building, which valet desk — RydAgent drivers know each major heritage property's specific arrival logistics from 13,000+ prior airport transfers).

For NH805 ANA Business / First passengers continuing the cabin-to-lobby premium-service arc, Maybach S-Class upgrade ¥25,000 preserves continuity. For ANA Diamond / Million Mile clients on milestone trips, Rolls-Royce Ghost ¥120,000 (4hr min) is the higher-tier upgrade. Public transport alternative: Tokyo Monorail ¥500/pax + JR Yamanote + Marunouchi Line / Tokyo Metro to your hotel district = 50-75 minutes with 2-3 transfers, hauling 2-4 large suitcases per traveler through morning commuter compression. For NH805 Star Alliance Gold and above, the math favors RydAgent end-to-end.

If you're on NH877 / NH878 (SIN-NRT-SIN, Singapore-Tokyo) — 91 + 89 bookings

NH877 (SIN 08:00 → NRT 16:00) and NH878 (NRT 11:35 → SIN 17:25) are our second-tier highest-volume ANA flights — 91 and 89 bookings respectively. Singapore-Tokyo ANA traffic is a sticky business-and-leisure demographic: Singapore-based Star Alliance Gold loyalists (Mileage Plus, KrisFlyer Elite Gold, or higher), Singapore-Tokyo business travelers using ANA's superior NH cabin product vs SQ on the same route, and Singapore family travelers preferring the Star Alliance miles-earning continuity on a 4-5 day Tokyo trip.

For NH877 NRT 16:00 arrivals: RydAgent Alphard NRT → Tokyo central ¥24,000 fixed (70-95 min depending on Higashi-Kanto Expressway evening traffic). For ANA Business / First passengers, Maybach NRT → Tokyo ¥33,000. The earlier NH877 landing (16:00) vs SQ12's 17:25 is a meaningful 90 minutes — for business travelers continuing same-day to a 19:00 Roppongi or Marunouchi hotel-bar meeting, NH877 puts you at hotel by 17:30-18:00 with full shower-and-change buffer. For NH878 morning departures (11:35 from NRT back to Singapore), book RydAgent Alphard hotel → NRT pickup 08:00-08:30. For ANA Diamond / Platinum clients using the ANA Suite Lounge (NRT T1 Satellite 5) pre-departure, dispatcher sequences the pickup time to allow 60-90 min of lounge use.

If you're on NH847 / NH848 (MUC Europe-Tokyo) — 48 + 44 bookings, European business pattern

NH847 (MUC 14:25 → HND 09:00 next day, 48 bookings) and its NH848 return cover Europe-Tokyo ANA service from Munich, with NH109 / NH205 / NH216 adding London and Frankfurt traffic. The European business-traveler HND 09:00 arrival is one of the most productive Tokyo windows — morning landing gives you the full day to recover and arrive at a 19:00 evening engagement refreshed.

For NH847 / NH109 / NH216 morning HND arrivals: Alphard HND → Marunouchi / Otemachi / Nihonbashi hotel ¥16,000 fixed; Maybach upgrade ¥25,000 for ANA First / Business cabin continuity. Dispatcher pre-coordinates hotel concierge for early luggage acceptance — Star Alliance Gold (Mileage Plus, Lufthansa Senator, Aeroplan, ANA Platinum) status entitles you to most major properties' early-arrival accommodation. For European multi-generational families arriving on NH847 for a Hakuba / Niseko / Nozawa ski week, HND → direct Hakuba transfer ¥130,000-180,000 (4-6 hour direct). German / French dispatcher coordination available.

If you're on NH212 / NH216 / NH109 (SFO / LAX / LHR-Tokyo transpacific & Atlantic) — premium-cabin pattern

NH212 (SFO 11:45 → NRT 15:30, 26 bookings), NH216 (LAX 11:00 → NRT 15:30, 16 bookings), and NH109 (LHR 11:30 → HND 07:55 next day, 15 bookings) cover the transpacific and transatlantic ANA service to Japan — the longest-haul ANA routes and the demographic with the highest premium-cabin ratio in our dataset. SFO, LAX, IAD, ORD, SEA, and JFK-Narita ANA flights bring US-based business travelers and ANA First / Business class clients to Japan with the highest ground-service expectation.

For NH212 / NH216 NRT 15:30 afternoon arrivals: Alphard NRT → Tokyo ¥24,000 fixed; Maybach S-Class NRT → Tokyo ¥33,000 for ANA First / Business cabin continuity. For ANA Diamond Million Mile clients hosting Tokyo business counterparts at the W Tokyo, Aman Tokyo, or Bulgari Tokyo: Rolls-Royce Ghost ¥120,000 (4hr min). NH First-class passengers landing NH212 frequently use the ANA Suite Lounge at NRT T1 Satellite 5 for shower + decompression, then Maybach to Aman Otemachi where the 33F lobby welcome matches the premium-cabin arc.

For NH109 LHR morning HND arrivals, the British / European business-traveler pattern matches the German-NH847 logistics: morning HND landing → 19:00 Marunouchi hotel-bar meeting. Alphard HND → Marunouchi ¥16,000 / Maybach ¥25,000.

If you're on NH890 / NH835 / NH872 (Asia-regional from Manila / Jakarta / Hanoi)

ANA's Asia-regional network is well-represented in our dataset — NH890 (MNL→NRT, 50 bookings), NH835 / NH836 (JKT-NRT regional, 19 each), NH872 (HAN→NRT, 28 bookings), plus Mumbai BOM and Delhi DEL codeshare flights. Asia-regional ANA arrivals bring a mix of family-and-friends and business travelers — Filipino, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Malaysian travelers visiting Japan for first-time Tokyo experience or repeat shopping-tour trips, with multi-generational family bookings common (Filipino family-of-6, Indonesian extended-family-of-8).

For Asia-regional NRT arrivals: Alphard NRT → Tokyo ¥24,000 fixed; HiAce ¥30,000 for 5-9 pax + extended luggage. For multi-generational SE Asia bookings, HiAce is the one-vehicle solution. Dispatcher coordinates Cantonese / Mandarin / Tagalog / Bahasa Indonesia where the senior generation prefers regional-language operational communication via WhatsApp. The full Asia-regional ANA schedule (Bangkok, Singapore, KL, Manila, Jakarta, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Mumbai, Delhi, Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu) is fully tracked in our dispatch system for pre-positioning and codeshare-flight-number reconciliation.

Star Alliance Gold / ANA Diamond Million Mile — status recognition + premium-vehicle matching (the ANA service differentiator)

For ANA passengers carrying Star Alliance Gold or higher status — ANA Mileage Club Platinum / Diamond / Super Flyers, United Mileage Plus Gold / Platinum / 1K / Global Services, Air Canada Aeroplan 50K / 75K / Super Elite, Lufthansa Senator / HON Circle, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Elite Gold / PPS Club, Asiana Asiana Club Diamond, or any other Star Alliance affiliate elite tier — the matching ground-service expectation for the cabin-to-lobby transition is the major service differentiator vs an unmarked Toyota Alphard with a generic driver. RydAgent's status-aware service coordination is specifically built for this gap:

  • Pickup window flexibility: driver waits 30-45 min post-landing for slow customs / immigration clearance without surcharge. For ANA First / Business cabin passengers using the ANA Suite Lounge or Star Alliance Gold lounges at NRT / HND pre-pickup, dispatcher coordinates the optimal pickup window.
  • Maybach S-Class for ANA First / Business continuity: NRT ¥33,000 / HND ¥25,000 — preserves cabin-to-lobby premium-service arc.
  • Rolls-Royce Ghost for ANA Diamond Million Mile milestone occasions: ¥120,000 (4-hour minimum). Frequently booked for board-meeting Tokyo entry, anniversary trips, milestone birthday occasions, or hosting Japanese business counterparts.
  • Hotel concierge pre-coordination: dispatcher flags your Star Alliance Gold status to Park Hyatt / Mandarin Oriental / Aman Tokyo / Andaz / Hoshinoya / Imperial Hotel concierges for early-arrival luggage acceptance, lounge access pre-check-in, and matching service-tier welcome. Particularly useful for NH805 / NH847 / NH109 early-morning HND arrivals where standard hotel functions are not yet operating.
  • Senior driver assignment: ANA Diamond / Million Mile bookings receive our senior driver pool — drivers with 10+ years Tokyo airport transfer experience, English-fluent enough for in-vehicle service conversation, who carry leather-bound luggage handling and the equivalent service tier you'd expect from a corporate car service in New York, London, or Singapore.

ANA codeshare with United / Air Canada / Lufthansa / Singapore — partner-code booking handling

ANA's Star Alliance codeshare network means many "ANA flights" are actually ticketed under partner airline codes — United UA, Air Canada AC, Lufthansa LH, Singapore Airlines SQ, Air China CA, EVA Air BR, Asiana OZ, and the smaller carriers in the alliance. For RydAgent booking, partner-airline flight numbers are fully accepted — dispatcher maps the codeshare flight number to the operating NH metal for tracking and pre-positioning purposes.

Common ANA codeshare patterns we handle:

  • United UA837 = NH212 metal (SFO → NRT) — Mileage Plus members ticketing on UA, flying ANA metal. NRT T1 ANA arrivals.
  • Air Canada AC005 = NH106 metal (SEA → NRT) — Aeroplan members on AC code, NH operating. NRT T1 arrival.
  • Lufthansa LH716 / LH717 = NH222 / NH223 metal (FRA → NRT) — Miles & More members on LH code, NH operating. NRT T1.
  • Singapore SQ636 / SQ638 = NH variant on certain Singapore-Tokyo codeshares — KrisFlyer Elite Gold continuity.
  • Air China CA163 / CA181 Beijing-Narita codeshare combinations.
  • EVA Air BR196 Taipei-Narita where ANA is the partner code.

For all of these, the customs experience and physical arrival flow are identical to direct NH-ticketed flights. RydAgent driver receives both flight numbers (codeshare + operating NH) in the dispatch system, so even if your itinerary shows only the partner code, our flight-tracking integration follows the NH metal automatically. Star Alliance Gold or higher status is recognized regardless of which partner code you ticketed under.

For ANA travelers weighing private transfer vs Limousine Bus / N'EX / Tokyo Monorail: the per-person math favors public transport for 1-2 ANA economy solo travelers with light luggage. But the math reverses sharply for: ANA First / Business class passengers (Maybach matches cabin), Star Alliance Gold and above (status recognition + early-arrival hotel coordination), three-generation family bookings (8-9 pax + 8-9 suitcases need one HiAce), NH805 / NH847 / NH109 early-morning HND arrivals (before normal hotel function), business travelers with 19:00 hotel-bar meetings (private transfer preserves the timing buffer). For 4-pax ANA family bookings, RydAgent typically lands at ¥4-8K per person — straight comparable to monorail + station taxi, with service quality differential that ANA's loyalty-tier demographic historically values.

Kevin Eke, Jul 2026

Loved their service, they accommodated us even if we had last minute chnages. It was a great experience!!!

The driver contacted us as soon as we landed in Tokyo. He provided clear instructions how to meet after we got our luggage. He had to wait an extra 30 mins since our plane was delayed. Great service, great / clean car and a nice ride to our hotel. Thanks.

Henry Avetisyan, Jul 2026

My wife and I had a flawless experience using this transfer service from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Central Tokyo. Although we are in our 70s, we are experienced travelers and usually take public transit or a taxi from airports to hotels. However, this was our first trip to Asia and with a 12-hour flight from Chicago, we decided that we needed to make the hotel transfer easy. And it was. Communication with the company was excellent. They messaged me through WhatsApp several times to make everything was clear. In fact, I messaged them when we landed, that the plane was an hour early and hoped they could pick us up sooner. They responded yes and sure enough our driver,John, was there to meet us past customs. John was very friendly and very professional. His English was excellent. He handled the luggage. The vehicle was comfortable. He made us feel welcome. I highly recommend them and would use them again without hesitation.

S Lund, May 2026

Great experience with this taxi service from the customer service to the driver and the car everything works like a clock

Michael Bakov, Jul 2026

Our driver picked us up at our hotel and dropped us at Haneda Airport Departures (Terminal 3) as requested. It was a very comfortable and safe ride and the vehicle was very clean and spacious. Thank you so much!

Valerie Pendon, Jun 2026

Great experience using this private transfer from our hotel to Haneda Airport. Booking was easy, and when we needed to adjust our pickup time, the operator was very responsive. The driver arrived on time and the ride was smooth and stress-free. Would definitely use again.

Karen Kiefer-Fujimoto, Jun 2026

Professional service that takes the stress out of airport transfers. Our family has been to Tokyo a few times. Airport transfer by train, taxi, and private car. This service is good value, especially for groups. We had a very comfortable and well kept vehicle. Driver was very professional, polite, and easy to work with. We had an hour long flight delay and sat on the runway for 20 minutes after landing. This service was very flexible and helpful through the situation. Driver was patiently waiting when we arrived.

Mark OBrien, Jun 2026

Karazawa Ryou was our driver. He texted us his contact info via Whatsap the day before our flight. In between flights, we learned that our connecting flight had been delayed. Instead of arriving at 9:15pm, we would now be arriving at I1:30pm. Such a significant amount of delay time...plus, arriving so much LATER at night, I was worried that our driver would no longer be able to pick us up. I notified him, and he responded, "Don't worry. I'll wait for you. See you later." He even included a smiley face! I went from panic to peace in an instant. As we were exiting the plane, I received a text from him notifying me that we had landed at Terminal 2, so it would be quicker to get out. I should let him know once we had picked up our luggage, and he would be at the exit within one minute with a sign. I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly this process went, and the SUV exceeded my expectations. It was lush and immaculately clean. I commend the driver on his professionalism and would not hesitate to hire him again. This experience was BETTER THAN PERFECT!

Cheryl FitzGerald, May 2026

Very nice transfer service. Very helpful and most pleasant experience. Would use them again.

William Thornton BC Guide Dogs, May 2026

Excellent experience from start to finish. Communication before arrival was clear and professional, and the driver was waiting exactly as instructed after we cleared customs at Haneda Airport. After a long international flight, having a smooth private transfer to our hotel made a huge difference. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, the ride was efficient, and the entire process felt very organized and stress-free. We especially appreciated the prompt responses and easy coordination through WhatsApp. Highly recommend KJ Tour for anyone arriving in Tokyo and wanting a reliable, comfortable airport transfer experience.
